BECOME A VOLUNTEER

The Locomotive Conservation and Learning Trust is always looking for volunteers to help out with its various projects, including the restoration of LNER J21 class 0-6-0 No. 65033 and NER bogie tools van No. 5523. There are a myriad of tasks that need to be done, and we're happy to involve people of all ages and abilities. We also need help with other things, including sales and display stands and a host of other 'behind the scenes' activities. Of course, once the locomotive and van are complete, we'll be looking for drivers, firemen, cleaners, fitters and owner's representatives around the country to help us with the day to day operating tasks.

In order to volunteer, you'll need to become a member of our Supporters' Group; once you've signed up, you'll receive full details in your Welcome Pack advising the different ways that you can get involved.
