To help us restore our LNER J21 to working order, after which it will emerge in its earliest guise of North Eastern Railway C / C1 class No. 876, including new locomotive and tender frames and a new tender tank, the Locomotive Conservation and Learning Trust has launched the 876 Club.

Members of the Club are required to make either a single donation of £876, or a minimum of 10 monthly instalments of £87.60. In return for this, members of the 876 Club will receive a Supporters' pin badge, monthly newsletters, invitations to our annual Supporters' Day, a pair of tickets for the launch event for the 'J21's' return to steam and a day's footplate experience on the locomotive, learning to drive and fire it.

To join the 876 Club, you can click on the relevant button below and pay via PayPal, using a PayPal account or debit/credit card; make sure to tick the 'Subscription' option if you choose the option to make regular monthly payments. Alternatively, you can set up a standing order by downloading our standing order form and completing and posting your application to us.
